Long distance friendships
September 14th, 2012 at 3:34pm I didn't know I had just meant my best friend. Have you ever heard someone complain that they haven't seen their best friend in what seems like "ages". People may think that a day, a week, or a month is a long time to go without seeing your best friend. Well listen to what I got to say. My best friend and I meant over the internet (Youtube) almost two years ago. The catch?…. We live 3,421 miles apart. She lives in the United Kingdom, and I live in the United States. We have so much in common that sometime it seems like we've almost known each other for forever! I'm so glad I meant her and she is one of the funniest, amazing people I've ever meant! Her name is Eloise Kite. Eloise rides horses like me. That's how we meant, I saw one of her videos on Youtube of her riding and I commented and she commented back. Since then we've been friends. We lost touch for a bit but have recently re connected, and boy am I glad we re connected! We both dream of one day meeting each other in person. After almost two years of talking over the internet using Skype, Snap-chat, and FB messanger it gets a little depressing not being able to see your best friend in person. But we are already planning what we are going to do when we meet up. Ex: take our horses to the beach and ride on the beach, have a Pretty Little Liars and Saddle Club marathon (yes we still love the saddle club) and pretty much just have fun and eat ice cream and drink cider. It gets hard communicating when you have an ocean seperating you. The time zone is a 5 hour difference that means when it's 12 in the afternoon here it's already 5 in the evening there. So basically my day is just beginning and her's is just winding down, but we make it work! I'm so glad you came into my life Eloise! Thanks for being my best friend!
